Waxahachie Lighthouse For Learning is designed for adults (18 years and older) to continue education and have a little fun. Are you interested in learning swing dance or calligraphy? Knitting or guitar? There are assorted classes to choose from and they begin September 22.

Classes vary in length and all require registration. Most classes will meet at the Waxahachie High School campus and have a minimal cost and perhaps require a supply fee. If you cannot attend classes on campus, the Lighthouse offers online courses, as well.

You can register in person by traveling to the WISD Administration Building located at 411 N. Gibson Street in Waxahachie. Registrations are accepted on regular business days from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday. You are also welcome to mail your registration and class fee to:

Everyone is welcome to register for a class. You need not live in Waxahachie to enroll. Register early and that will help prevent classes from being cancelled too soon due to low registration.
