The Italy High School Regiment Band is performing at halftime at the Varsity football games and everyone needs to see them. They are awesome!

IHS Band director, Jesus Perez, wants everyone to see the band. This year the drum major is Chase Michaels. Besides entertaining the crowds at football halftime, the Italy Band is having fun in the stands. Just take a look at the next game. They will be the group in blue that are dancing and cheering and having a good time.

Their halftime performance includes “Oye Como Va” and “St. Thomas”. Mr. Perez says, “We will try to add our last song called, ‘Caravan,’ this Friday at Frost.” Of course, the Flag Corps will perform as well.

The 53 member band will travel to Troy and compete in the marching invitational on Wednesday, October 8 and the Teague Marching Invitational on Saturday, October 11. Mr. Perez said, “Our biggie is the UIL Marching contest on Wednesday, October 22 at the Waco ISD Stadium.”

Come to the games and support the Italy High School Regiment Band.
