The 2008 Powder Puff game is coming

If you want to have a little fun this week, come to Italy’s football field and watch the Junior or Senior girls win the title of Powder Puff Champions 2008.

On Thursday Oct 2, at 7 p.m. at Willis Field the football game of the year will unfold. The Junior class and the Senior class will vie for the title of Powder Puff Champions. Every year the classes become rivals for this game and nothing will do but to beat the other.

The best part is watching the cheerleaders. This year they will be Tyler Boyd, Roy Glaspy, Clay Major, Anthony Johnson, Michael Vlk, Kory Hughes, Chase Michael, Darrin Moore, Curtis Cole and Diamond Rodgers.

Don’t forget “Miss 2008 Powder Puff Princess” will be crowned at halftime. Remember, the winner is determined by the amount of money students place on each cheerleader.

All proceeds go to the National Honor Society Scholarship. Admission is $2 — sorry, no passes accepted this time.
