Lady Gladiators win against Lady Eagles

The Lady Gladiators were on fire Tuesday night as they hosted the Lady Eagles in volleyball. Italy stepped up and won 3 sets — another mark in the win column. The final scores were 25-13, 25-14 and 25-16.

Assistant Coach Reeves said, “Angelica Garza had 2 kills, Becca DeMoss had 14, Cori Jeffords had 6, Drew Windham had 6, Kaitlyn Rossa had 2 and Stephanie Carter had 3. In serves Megan Richards had 21 good, 2 aces and 0 missed. Drew Windham had 4 aces and 0 missed.”

The Lady Eagles were no match for the Italy Lady Gladiators. Head Coach Windham said, “We have had trouble finishing the games when we were ahead, but we certainly didn’t have that trouble last night! I was so proud of the girls. They had fun and that made all the difference in the world. They felt confident in themselves and finished it off. It was a great win.”

The Lady Gladiators travel to Kopperl next and play the Lady Eagles beginning at 10 a.m, Saturday October 4.
