Lions Club International is a worldwide organization that helps citizens of all ages with glasses and vision problems. Some vision problems may be corrected by a pair of glasses. Others may require a surgical procedure.

Here in Italy there is a Lions Club. I had no idea just how many people didn’t know we existed until our bake sale.

One of the many ways Lions Clubs help people all over the world is accepting unwanted or broken eyeglasses. We have two local businesses who have graciously allowed The Lions club to put out some donation boxes. They can be found at Varner’s and CNB in downtown Italy. So if you have any unwanted or broken eyeglasses, please drop them off in one of the donation boxes. After all you never know what country or whose sight you will be helping.
