Saturday, November 1 come to the First United Methodist Church of Italy. There will be a kid’s carnival, fun activities, a BBQ dinner and a live auction.

The carnival and activities go from 1 to 4 p.m. There’ll be Whack-a-Car, carnival games, a bounce house, and snacks and drinks. Carnival tickets are only 25 cents each.

From 5 to 7 p.m. will be the BBQ dinner. A $10 plate includes W.O. Harris’ Famous BBQ, potato salad, beans, trimmings, dessert, and tea and water to drink. But that’s not all, the purchase of a BBQ plate also enters you in a drawing for a $50 restaurant gift card. A $5 kids meal consists of a hot dog, chips, dessert and a drink.

Music will be by Jerod Casey.

Bidding for the auction begins at 7 p.m. James “Pee Wee” carter will be the auctioneer. There will be gift certificates, themed baskets, collectibles, antiques and more on the block.

First United Methodist Church of Italy is at 124 Harpold St.

Proceeds go to FUMC Italy’s Missional Offerings.
