On Tuesday night, the Lady Gladiators played their last game for the season against Kopperl. They gave a good fight but could not push past the competitors. They lost the match in 3 sets. The score: Kopperl def. Italy 25-20, 25-19 and 26-24. The Lady Eagles add another win to their belt.

The Lady Gladiators played hard and strong. They have come a long way since the beginning of the season, made large strides and learned valuable lessons. The coaches were pleased with their level of playing. Coach Windham said, “I was very proud of them last night. I told them that, ‘Yes, Kopperl was good but we stayed with them all three sets. They should be proud of the progress they made this year.’ I predict that they will be a force to be reckoned with next year.”
