Barbara James Wade passed away November 7, surrounded by her family. Services were held Tuesday, November 11.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Wade; son, Bill Wade, Jr.; brother, Allston Lee Williams and wife, Dora Lee Williams and brother Earnest James.
Born in Hillsboro December 12, 1930 to C.E. and Vera James, she was raised by N.D.and Lillie Collier until her marriage to William Wade of Milford, January 6, 1949.
She is survived by children, Charles and Patti Wade, Alice and Graham Compton, Lezlie and Jeff Brant, Leighe Anne and Eric Davis. Grandchildren are Justin and Stephanie Wade, Ashley, Stoner and Collier Wade, Erica and Hunter Davis.
Also surviving Barbara are cousins Geraldine and Robert Novak, Jimmy and Patsy Williams, Josie and Leonard Herring, Jane and Larry Cain.
She leaves behind many friends in Hillsboro, Ennis, Milford and Waxahachie as well as at Community Assisted Living of Grand Prairie.
She was former resident of Italy. Her children attended the Italy ISD schools.
