If you are interested in participating in Operation Christmas Child, please submit your filled shoeboxes to Italy’s First United Methodist, Central Baptist or First Baptist by Sunday, November 16. It is time to turn in the gift boxes.

More than 61 million shoeboxes have been delivered to children around the world. And they must be delivered the following Monday to the local distribution centers. It is all very simple. Use an empty shoebox or small plastic container ($1.00 at the local Dollar Store). Determine what age group you will purchase for (2-4, 5-9, or 10-14 boy or girl). Fill each box with age appropriate gifts. Donate $7 for each shoebox prepared to help cover shipping. Place a rubber band around each closed shoebox, add a prayer for the child and Samaritan’s Purse will deliver for you.
