Cupboards Are Bare-Your Help Is Needed

The plea has been issued. The Italy Ministerial Alliance is searching for more food. With serving over 40 families in the Italy and Milford area, the food pantry is depleted. Families are in need and the Food Pantry wants to help them.

IMA President, Rev. Beverly Hamilton, said, “We are now official members of the North Texas Food Bank and will begin ordering our food online at 14 cents a pound in the coming weeks. This is a huge savings on buying food from local grocery stores. Please consider making $10-$20 donations monthly to the IMA food pantry so we can begin ordering our food now at this reduced rate. However, during the next couple of weeks, we still are in dire need of food. Our pantry shelves are bare. We desperately need canned meats.” There will be team orientation and training with North Texas Food Bank in the coming weeks for the volunteers helping at the food pantry. However, until the team is trained and the purchase can begin, volunteers are asking for your donations.
