Gladiators stung by Ferris Yellow Jackets
It didn’t take long for the Italy Gladiators to realize they had stumbled into a nest of Ferris Yellow Jackets. Italy’s #15 Desmond Anderson put in a 3-pointer, but Ferris buzzed up and down the court building a 22-10 lead by the end of the 1st period.
Ferris showed no signs of letting up as they doubled their opening period output. Scoring 22-points in each of the first two periods, Ferris sent Italy staggering back into the locker room, as the Gladiators trailed 44-16 at the halftime break.
