It didn’t take long for the Italy Gladiators to realize they had stumbled into a nest of Ferris Yellow Jackets. Italy’s #15 Desmond Anderson put in a 3-pointer, but Ferris buzzed up and down the court building a 22-10 lead by the end of the 1st period.

Ferris showed no signs of letting up as they doubled their opening period output. Scoring 22-points in each of the first two periods, Ferris sent Italy staggering back into the locker room, as the Gladiators trailed 44-16 at the halftime break.

Italy’s #5 Jasenio Anderson gave a valiant effort trying to give the Gladiators a chance but Anderson could only muster 6-points during the 3rd period. Ferris had a comfortable lead going into the last period 65-27.

Italy’s J. Anderson hit a 3-pointer in the 4th period to give the hometown fans something to cheer about. However, the Yellow Jackets, led by the talented #23 Jeremy Masterson who scored his jersey number during the contest, left no doubt as they finished off the Gladiators 80-37.
