A zoning hearing regarding the old nursing home on Highway 77 is scheduled before the Italy City Council’s regular meeting Monday night. Then following the hearing the council will consider ratifying the decision of the planning and zoning commission.

• bids for White Street
• applications for the Park Board Committee
• final payment for contract “A” for sewer plant construction
• appraisals of City of Italy’s real property
• and a request for proposal for sanitation services.

The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2009 in the council chambers behind the police department next to city hall. As always the meeting is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to attend.
