Congratulations to the Milford Basketball Head Coach Otis Carter for leading his boys to the third round of basketball playoffs this year after taking first place in district. The Bulldogs’ district season record was 13-1 ending with a 16-6 record. Coach Carter was also named, “Coach of the Year” for District 19A Division II.

“Most people don’t realize that because of football we started late. We had to play catch-up. Most of our real play comes in district and they turned things around,” stated Coach Carter. “This is a testament to the kids being able to come out of football and play at this level.”

The Bulldogs relied on four seniors who provided the leadership for this year’s team: Derek Williamson, DeMarcus McGruder, Greg Armstrong, and Victor Camposano.

“The players next year are going to have to step the game up because of the loss of four seniors,” said Coach Carter. “We’ll only have one senior next year so it makes us a younger team. I believe they’ll step up to the challenge.”
