There was a full house on hand at Hobbs Feed & Grain on Saturday due to the grand opening. The newest owners were happy to meet the citizens of Italy during the festivities. Many from the community came to participate in the event. So many, there was hardly any parking available.

Free BBQ sandwiches, drinks and official grand opening cake, plus door prizes were offered to the public. Local veterans were honored as well. Among the visitors were dignitaries from the Italy City Council, local Lions Club and Mayor Frankie Jackson. At noon, the official ribbon cutting was held and KBEC was on the air reporting all the fun.
