Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church will be hosting a Youth Choir Musical on Saturday, April 25th at 6:00 PM. This is the place to be to sing praises to the Lord. Mittie Muse is the new Pastor of Mt. Zion and is very excited about this program.

“This is an event that the church hopes to host annually as another opportunity for the youth, and young adults of the Italy community to come together and worship the Lord,” explained the new pastor.

The Youth Choir Musical is open to the public and Mt Zion A.M.E. encourages all young people to lift up praises to God through song and even dance. This musical will be preceded by a music workshop Thursday, April 23rd and Friday April 24th at 7:00PM at Mt Zion A.M.E. Church located at 733 Hardeman in Italy.

The idea behind the musical workshop is to teach the registered participants songs they can sing together as a community. Pastor Muse said, “The workshop is not exclusive to Mt. Zion youth and young adults, but to all who are interested. We hope that this program is a blessing to all who attend.”
