The Votes Are In!
911 call during election — Around 6:00 p.m. just before the poles closed at 7:00 p.m., Italy Fire Engines and an ambulance responded to a 911 call. Unfortunately, while the rescue teams were keeping the City of Italy safe, Italy Fire District #3 and it’s proposition for a tax increase failed to pass by a count of 167-166, leaving 54 of the 387 total ballots cast, unmarked.
