Building Permits, Inspection Fees and a Substandard Building Ordinance are some of the items on the agenda for the Italy City Council’s next meeting. The scheduled meeting will be held on Monday, May 11 at 6:30 p.m. Other agenda items include:

• Presentation by Michael Boren, US Dept. of Commerce. regarding the 2010 Census
• and discussion and consider necessary action regarding:
  • a request by Javiar Gonzales regarding street easement at Upchurch Ball Park on Dilworth
  • the approval of an interlocal agreement between the City of Italy and The Ellis County Emergency Service District #3 for a Fire Chief and Fire Inspection Services.

The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall and is open to the public.
