This past week eight future Lady Gladiators attended the Waxahachie High School Volleyball camp for 6th and 7th graders. Cassidy Childers, Ashlyn Jacinto and Hannah Washington were the 6th graders that attended. Reagan Cockerham, Bailey Eubank, Jaclynn Lewis, Kelsey Nelson and Madison Washington were the 7th graders that attended.

This four day camp focused on fundamentals of the game and culminated with a tournament and awards ceremony. The Italy attendees were honored with several awards and accolades including “Pride” and “Hussle” awards. Madison Washington was one of six that were named to the “All Camp Team” and received a medal. Jaclynn Lewis received a trophy and was named “Best Teammate”.

Congratulations to these ladies (and their families) for stepping up and doing what needs to be done to become a better athlete and in turn keeping up the standard of being a Lady Gladiator.

Pride Awards were given to: Reagan Cockerham and Bailey Eubank. Hussle Awards were given to: Kelsey Nelson, Madison Washington, Ashlyn Jacinto, Cassidy Childers and Hannah Washington.
