This time they didn’t even have to leave home to advance to the next round of OPS. The Oustanding Performance Series contest is held every summer. Bands submit their recordings of their individual UIL contest pieces. At the region contest the top three concert and top two march selections advance to the Area contest. Last week, the IHS band placed 2nd in both the concert and march categories meaning that two of their three UIL contest pieces will be listened to by Area judges this Saturday, June 20.
