IYAA Softball Tournament rescheduled for Tuesday July 7th

IN ITALY: Part of an elaborate, multi-town, Girls District Softball Tournament, The IYAA will be hosting 8 & Under Coach Pitch tournament games in Italy at the Upchurch Fields.
In the Coach Pitch Girls Division, there are 8 participating teams including Kopperl, Hillsboro, Frost, Milford, Ferris, Palmer, Rice and Mildred that will battle for the Championship in Italy.
Rescheduled for Tuesday night, July 7 at 6:00 p.m. (due to rain), two games will be played simultaneously on two fields. At 8:00 p.m., two more games will be played.
There will be 4 games played each night of the tournament that is scheduled to conclude on July 10.
IN ENNIS: In the Midget Girls Division, Italy’s Pink Panthers coached by Tina Haight will travel to Ennis on Monday, July 6th as they will also be in a 8 team tournament. Game time is TBA.
IN GRANDVIEW: In the Freshman Girls Division, Michael Chambers will take his talented Italy squad to Grandview to compete in a 10 team tournament on Monday as well.
