Lane Bogy hits a 3-run walk off home run to win the World Series — The final game of the Super Series World Series in Colorado Springs, Colorado featured two Texas teams. But it was Lane Bogy of Midlothian who hit a 3-run walk off home run to win the World Series for the Ellis County Renegades in a 10-8 thriller over the Corsicana Beavers.
Going for it… — The Ellis County Renegades traveled to Colorado Springs to win the Super Series World Series Tournament finishing undefeated at 8-0.
Tristen Spradling — Tristen finished the tournament with a .522 batting average along with 2-home runs and 5-RBIs.
John Byers connects — John Byers of Italy not only connected with baseballs during the World Series tournament including this over the fence 2-run home run shot, he also hooked up for a quick visit with his cousin Zain Byers of Italy who was nearby visiting family in Colorado.
Tyler Welch — Tyler finished the tournament with a .529 batting average along with 3-home runs and 10 -RBIs.
Swinging far away — Tristen Spradling swings away…far away in Colorado Springs in fact as Tristen and his Ellis County Renegades Team traveled to win the trophies.
Bryce Todd — Built for speed, Courtesy Runner Bryce Todd kept the Renegades pitchers rested by running the bases after the pitchers would hit.
Dylan Stone — Not just a pitcher, Dylan finished the tournament with a .417 batting average along with 5-RBIs.
Auston Moore — Renegades catcher Auston Moore also back handed a throw to first base for an out while playing second base.
Luke felt the force — Luke took 2nd Place in the tournament Home Run Derby to get the week long Super Series World Series off to an exciting start.
John Byers — John Byers caught a critical fly ball with bases loaded in the World Series Championship game that forced the Corsicana Beavers’ runners back to their bases and off the scoreboard.
Lane Bogy — Lane anchored the Ellis County Renegades finishing the tournament with a .654 batting average while knocking in 18-RBIs. And by the way, Lane hit his first career home run that sailed over the fence to win the Super Series World Series for his team.
Blake stands strong — Blake Laney, selected by his tournament peers as the tournaments Offensive MVP, shows his form that helped him finish with a .545 batting average along with 3-home runs and 9-RBIs.
Eric Cadena — Pitching ace Eric Cadena also finished the tournament with a .400 batting average along with 8-RBIs.
Getting set to win — Renegades knocked off the dust after their trip from Texas to Colorado and then dusted off the competition to go undefeated at 8-0 while claiming the World Series Championship.
Emotional victory — Coaches battle for hug with World Series hero Lane Bogy who just nailed the tournament winning home run!
