There will be a regular meeting of the Italy City Council today, February 15, 2010 at 7:00pm. The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers of the Italy Municipal Building, 105 Main Street. The meeting is open to the public.

• Discuss and consider necessary action(s) regarding a request by the Italy Cemetery Association for a street easement from Hwy 77 to Cohagan Park in the cemetery.
• Discuss and consider necessary action(s) regarding a request by Keith Helms to purchase and close a 30 foot street easement between 505 and 501 Waco St. and 145 Derrs Chapel.
• Discuss and consider necessary action(s) regarding a request by Jesse Tovar for a quick claims deed on the 30 foot street easement between 505 and 501 Waco St. and 145 Derrs Chapel.
• Discuss and consider necessary action(s) regarding a request by Chad Adams for Saldena Properties, LTD. to install new water lines and tie into South Ellis County Water for emergency water.

• Discuss and consider necessary action(s) regarding approval of Ordinance No. 10-0208-01, An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Italy, Texas providing for a general election to be held May 8, 2010 for the purpose of electing three council members at large for terms of two years; establishing procedures for the conduct of such election; providing other details relating to the holding of such election; providing for the appointment of a presiding election judge; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.
