Floyd Mitchell Yarbrough, age 62, a long time resident of Waxahachie, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Baylor Medical Center of Waxahachie. He was born May 15, 1947 to G. W. and Francis (McCain) Yarbrough in Waxahachie, Texas. Floyd graduated from Italy High School in 1965 and attended Navarro College. He married Linda Johnson of Waxahachie on March 2, 1970 in Ardmore, OK. He worked for Southwestern Bell and retired from Foster Forbes in 1999 after many years of employment.

Survivors include his wife Linda of Waxahachie; one son, Jim Olesko; mother, Frances Yarbrough; one sister, Kay Wells all of Italy; niece Kaycie and nephew, Mike; aunts and uncles, Jean and Henry Wakeland of Whitney, Ann Sirkel of Arizona, Mr. and Mrs. A.W. McCain of Burns, Texas and Mrs. Irwin McCain of Dallas; his faithful four legged companions, Buddy and Sissy; and many cousins and friends.

Floyd was preceded in death by his father, G.W. Yarbrough on January 25, 1994; and grandparents.

The family will receive friends at 1PM Sunday, February 28, 2010 in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2PM with Brother Grady Cashion officiating. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
