Mrs. Florence Bigham, age 89, of Italy, passed away early Wednesday morning April 07, 2010 at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas. She was born March 20, 1921 in Batavia, Iowa to Joseph Ira and Etta Hite Francis. Mrs. Bigham was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Italy.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Nancy Self of Houston; step-son and daughter-in-law, Wendell and Gail Bigham of Dallas; step-son Bill Amerson of Kerrville; four grandchildren, her great grand child and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Bigham was preceded in death by her first husband, Jess Self Jr. and her second husband, Clarence Bigham. 

Viewing will start at 5:30 PM Friday, April 9, 2010 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy. The family will receive friends at 1PM Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy with funeral services to follow at 2PM with Reverend Eric McKinney officiating. Interment will follow at the Italy Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Italy.
