The IYAA Opening Day home games, on April 24, have been cancelled due to muddy fields. Away games will still be played in Whitney only, all other towns have cancelled. Therefore, if you have an Italy team scheduled to play in Whitney today, those games are confirmed.

Teams will continue their normal practice schedules next week. In the mean time, here are a few pictures taken of the IYAA girls T-Ball Team, coached by Tessa South, to hold us over until next Saturday.

Tessa is a former Lady Gladiator Softball player and was the first fast-pitch softball pitcher to play for Italy High School. The players are learning the basics such as running the bases, how to swing and run to first base and how to catch grounders as well.
