City Council and School Board Elections

Yesterday early voting started for Italy ISD School Board positions and Milford for City Council and School Board positions.

Italy

The early voting for Italy’s School Board election started April 26th and will continue through May 4th at the Italy High School administration office from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

May 8th is the election day and voting will take place at Italy City Hall in the council chambers from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

There are three positions available for the Italy School Board and five candidates running for those seats. The candidates are: Larry Eubank (incumbent), Cindy Carter (incumbent), Curtis Riddle (incumbent), Jon Mathers and Danny Day.

Milford

City of Milford will have elections for Mayor, City Council and School Board.

There are two candidates running for Mayor and they are William Powell and incumbent Mayor John Knight. For City Council there are three, two year term positions and four candidates. The candidates are: Ty Evans (incumbent), Lora Sue Lauhoff (incumbent), Bruce Perryman and P.J. Leible.

Early voting for these City positions will take place at Milford City Hall from April 26th to May 4th, 2010 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. May 3, 2010 you can early vote from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on this day only. Election day is May 8, 2010 and will take place at Milford City Hall from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

There are two positions on the Milford School Board available and four candidates. The candidates are: Fadys Gates (incumbent), Russell Slaton (incumbent), Kimberly K. Cook and Shanette “Pooh” Johnson.

Early voting for the school board seats is at 8:00 am to 4:00 pm from April 26th through May 4th at Milford City Hall. Election day is May 8th and voting will take place from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm at Milford City Hall.
