Elizabeth Lorene Winchester, age 74, of Milford, passed away early Tuesday morning, June 8, 2010 at her home. She was born May 20, 1936 in Jack County to Hamp and Loretta Frances Hufhines. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Milford. Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother and Nanny.

Survivors include her husband, John Winchester of Milford; children, Ken Whitsitt and wife Lynn of Frost, Lori Duke and husband Mike, Lisa Phoenix and husband Carlos all of Milford, Hattie Holmes and husband Kevin of Red Oak and Jackie Winchester of Ennis; step children, Freda Winchester of Corsicana, Debbie Moon and husband Jerry of Centerville, Jackie Winchester and wife Linda of Milford, Judy Dryer and husband Wilbert of Alba and Jeana Winchester of Mineola; 27 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; one brother, Joe Hufhines of Santa Fe, Texas and her extended family of 28 years, the Milford ISD staff and kids. She was preceded in death by one step-son, Billy Winchester.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy.

Funeral services will be 2PM Thursday, June 10, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Milford with Reverend John Wheatley officiating. Interment will follow at the Milford Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brian Duke, Christopher Serrata, Justin Serrata, Brad Montgomery, Zeke Agreda and Jerry Morgan.
