Pouring rains may have cancelled Thursday’s Junior Varsity and Junior High football games but that didn’t keep the Junior High team from getting in a few practice reps. IJH’s excited players will have to wait until next week to showcase their skills against Hubbard.

Much like the high school practices, receivers ran pass routes with coaches Aidan Callahan and Josh Ward, quarterbacks worked on their passing accuracy and timing with coach Jeff Richters while the linemen worked on their blocking assignments with coaches Stephen Coleman and Erik Wilson.

Both the junior varsity and junior high teams will play away in Hubbard against the Jaguars on Thursday, September 16. A 7th grade game is scheduled for 5:00 p.m., the 8th grade team will start at 6:00 p.m. and the J.V. Gladiators will begin play at 7:00 p.m.

Go Italy!
