Dorris Perkins, 80, of Saginaw died September 12, 2010. She was born July 13, 1930 in Italy to Floyd and Annie Bell Green. She graduated from Italy High School in 1947.

She retired from J.C. Penney’s after 18 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Helen Graves.

Survivors include: her husband of 63 years, Horrace Perkins; one daughter and son-in-law, Tami and Mike Byrd of Saginaw; one granddaughter, Ashley Byrd; one grandson, Chad Byrd and wife, Anna; and sisters, Fay Moody and husband, David of San Antonio, and Margaret Schriber of Fort Worth.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m September 14 at Mount Olivet Funeral Home in Fort Worth.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. September 15 in Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
