The First United Methodist Church of Italy, Texas, would like to invite everyone out for the 2010 Lord’s Acre on Saturday, October 9! Festivities begin at 2pm with a Children’s Carnival and bounce house at the Methodist Church at 124 Harpold. The fun continues with a FREE concert on the lawn provided by JRIDE (www.jrideministries.com) and The Followthrough (www.thefollowthrough.com), from 2-5pm. Bring your own chair or blanket to sit under the trees and enjoy the music.

JRIDE is an amazing Christian rapper with an even more amazing message! The Followthrough is an up and coming band and has been featured on radio stations across Texas, in addition to playing venues like Six Flags Arlington, the Republic of Texas Biker Rally, and the CenTex Sirens Roller Derby games.

An evening meal of brisket and all the trimmings starts at 5pm and costs just $8, so bring your appetite! Children’s meals are also available for $3.00. A live auction begins at 7pm right after dinner, and is filled with great sports memorabilia, antiques, and themed baskets.
