Godly men and women, brothers and sisters in Christ and soul searchin’ preaching is what you can find at Mt. Gilead Church in Italy. Located at 117 Harris St in Italy, Pastor Preston Dixon invites everyone to the Fall Harvest Revival.

Tuesday, Oct. 12 is the last and final day of the revival for this year. Pastor Dixon said, “I didn’t want the world to just have one celebration in October,” referring to Halloween. “I chose October to bring revival back to this church and to this town,” he explained. “This is a community event.”

Pastor C.L. Taylor of Morning Star Baptist Church of Grand Prairie is the guest speaker for the celebration and he can certainly rock the house. His message from Monday night incorporated the scripture from Ezekiel in which “bones and tendons were put back together and they were renewed.”

“Thus says the Lord God, ’Behold, I will cause breath to enter you that you may come to life. And I will put sinews on you, make flesh grow back on you, cover you with skin, put breath in you that you may come alive and know that I am the Lord.” (Ezekiel 37:5,6).
