Everyone is very happy to have a pharmacy in Italy. But we are not the only ones happy, the pharmacist, Martin Dennis is happy to be here.

When asked how his business was doing Dennis replied, “We are getting there. There is a certain volume you have to do to stay in business and we are getting there. We could still be a little busier, obviously, but winter is coming and we tend to get busier then.”

Dennis said they are working towards making some positive changes for their customers. “We are working on better office hours. We hope to eventually open at 10:00 am and stay open to 6:00 or 7:00 pm. We realize keeping Dr. Arkusinski’s office hours is not the best retail hours.”

He went on to say, “We also hope in the future to get certified for Medicare. It is a six to seven month process. My hope is to build up the business and eventually hire someone locally to run it and I can really expand the hours.”

Dennis said that he hopes everyone knows that you do not have to be a patient of Dr. John’s to use his services. And he can order anything that you need. “I can order beds, incontinent supplies, diabetic supplies, vitamins, wheel chairs anything you need, I can order it for you.”

“When people are looking to move to a new town they look at things like public services, water, sewage, housing rates, and health care, So if I can provide health care with my pharmacy and help Italy grow I am on board for the long hall.”

Pharmacy hours are:
Monday through Wednesday – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Thursday – 8:30 am to 7:00 pm
Friday – 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
