Merry Christmas everyone! That is what the city of Milford wants for all the boys in girls in their town, to have a merry Christmas, hence, the Angel Tree.

Milford’s Angel tree is located at Milford City Hall and is still filled with lots of angels waiting for Christmas presents.

This year the Titus Women’s Club is in charge of the Angel Tree. Jeannie Richardson is president of the club and said, “We are asking that everyone come and adopt an angel. We still have angels on the tree so we need people to come in and get these angels so everyone can have a nice Christmas. We want every child in Milford to have a present under the tree and these kids won’t have it if someone does not adopt them.”

Jeannie is asking that everyone give three presents and one pair of shoes. Your gifts need to be unwrapped and the “Angel” card slipped into one of the shoes and back up to City Hall by the 13th of December. Richardson said, “Gifts need to be in at City Hall by the 13th. You may turn in your gifts at the Milford City Hall or the Milford Police station. We will be wrapping the presents on Tuesday the fourteenth and handing them out that weekend.”

Let’s go to Milford City hall, get an angel and share the giving spirit of Christmas with a little child.

Milford City Hall is located on Main Street downtown Milford. Their hours of operation are: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
