List of cancelled sporting events affecting Italy athletics

Due to treacherous road conditions, below is a list of known sporting event cancellations affecting Italy athletics:

Cancellations:

  • The Italy Youth Athletic Association’s (IYAA) basketball games scheduled for Saturday, February 5, have been CANCELLED but may be scheduled for a later time.
  • The Italy Powerlifting team’s meet this weekend in Rio Vista has been CANCELLED.
  • The IHS Varsity and JV basketball games, originally scheduled to be played in Keene today, have been CANCELLED. Both Varsity teams will travel to Keene on Monday with the Lady Gladiators starting at 5:00 p.m. The JV games will NOT be played on Monday.

Not Cancelled:

As of now, Italy’s Pack The Dome Night against Grandview on Tuesday, February 8 will continue as planned, as well as, the Varsity and JV games scheduled for Friday night, February 11, against Maypearl.
