Dorris “Dot” Harris, age 84, of Italy, passed away Monday, March 07, 2011 at Trinity Mission Health and Rehab. She was born June 16, 1926 in Lyford, Texas. Dot was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Harris of Italy; daughter, Mona Paiano and husband Joe of Italy; grandchildren, Rodney Guthrie of Italy, Kellie Ramirez and husband Eric of San Antonio, Keri Hanes of Ennis and Melissa Cox of Hillsboro; great grandchildren, Justin Guthrie and Jacqueline Ramirez. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Yocham and brothers, Alton Parker and Jimmy Parker.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy.

Funeral services will be 4:00pm Thursday, March 10, 2011 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel with Reverend Todd Gray officiating. Interment will follow at the Italy Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chad Hamby, Mike Boyd, Mike Beets, Paul Cockerham, Robert Owen and Lee Harris.
