Magic Mirror has been a part of Italy, Texas for forty three years and is still here serving the citizens of Italy.
Francis Whitener owns the Magic Mirror and really out did herself when she hired Heather Cole. Heather has been working as a hair stylist at the Magic Mirror for two years now. But has been cutting hair for about ten years and has her degree in Cosmetology from Hill College.
When you walk in to the salon you get that “down home” feeling and are treated like family. Long time customer Bertie Bell said, “I have been coming here for many, many years. I love they way they do my hair. You are treated like family here. I won’t go anywhere else.”
Heather said, "When I was a teenager the Magic Mirror was, “the place” to go. All the kids got their hair done here. That’s what we want again. They also have tanning beds and offer tans for $30.00 a month and you can come anytime.
Also Magic Mirror can now give you feathers in your hair! It is the newest thing and Heather and Francis are bringing it to you. The feathers are better known as styling feathers. It takes about five minutes to put them in your hair and you can wash and blow dry them, style them and you can even flat iron them. The cost is $25.00 and they last for about six to eight weeks. Mens haircuts are just $10.00 and ladies haircuts start at $15.00 and go up depending on whether you want your hair styled or shampooed.
Highlights start at $65.00 and they can do any color you like.
You can get your eye brows waxed for $7.00 and even get a facial.
