Glenda Faye Barber, age 69, of Milford, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Arlington Memorial Hospital. She was born September 14, 1941 in Colorado to John and Flossie Elizabeth (Wilson) Morgan.

Glenda had been a proud employee of Wal-Mart for 21 years. She never met a stranger and had many, many friends. She loved to go on family vacations. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the First Assembly of God Church in Milford. Glenda was a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors include daughter, Elizabeth Sommers and husband Dave of Arlington; son, Ricky Barber and fiancée Jessie Mauldin of Maypearl; grandchildren, Zachary Barber, Kennedy Barber, Attie Barber and Hiley Mauldin; sisters, Joann Barnes, Muriel Smith and Gayle Weaver. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Thomas Dewayne Winchester and two brothers.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday, May 9, 2011 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Waxahachie.

Funeral services will be 10AM Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy with Brother John Wheatley officiating. Interment will follow at the Milford Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Morgan, Jerry Wayne Morgan, Glen Smith, Mark Griffith and Vance Griffith.
