Emily Orrline “Sweetheart” Martin, age 88, of Italy passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011 at her home. She was born September 7, 1922 in Italy, Texas to George and Hatti (Varner) Green. Orrline married Aubrey Dale Martin on October 6, 1945. She had been a member of the Central Baptist Church for 72 years.

Survivors include one daughter, Donna Gay Stanglin of Denison, Texas; two grandsons, John Dale Speer of Waxahachie and Jason Speer and wife Jenny of Mesquite; one sister, Evelyn Jenkins of Italy; five great grandchildren, Ashley, Emily, Kaylee, Lauren and Landry; one great-great grandson, Troy; Orrline was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Aubrey Dale Martin and eleven brothers and sisters, Floyd Green, Earnest Green, Irvin Green, Ethel Hammonds, Blanche McCarty, Bill Green, Jaunita Fay Green, Ruth Henry, George Green, Jr. Virginia Green and Jack Green.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy.

Funeral services will be 2PM Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy with Pastor Todd Gray officiating. Interment will follow at the Italy Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James Roland Ridlehuber, Jerry Ridlehuber, Brian Mathiowetz, Larry Henry, Eddie Green and Bob Windham.
