EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
The City of Italy is issuing a Mandatory Water Conservation Emergency

No washing cars, watering lawns, or filling swimming pools.  

At approximately 4:00a.m. Water Well #1 motor stopped functioning.  Therefore it is necessary for all citizens inside city limits to conserve as much water as possible.  Low water pressure is expected.  

You will be notified when the Mandatory Conservation is lifted.

In accordance with the Drought Contingency Plan Ordinance No. 232 Section 3 states:   In regards to implementation and enforcement of the Conservation/Drought Contingency Plan the Mayor is designated as the official responsible for implementation and enforcement.
