The Lady Gladiator Volleyball team traveled to Mildred High School for a three team round-robin style scrimmage.  Playing the Hubbard Lady Jags at 11am and the Mildred Lady Eagles at noon the Lady Gladiators came away with some much needed experience and a feeling of accomplishment.

Each team played each other in two, twenty minute matches.  There was no official score keeper but Breyanna Beets, team manager, kept score during Italy’s matches.  Italy’s team of three seniors, three juniors, and four freshmen came away with three wins and one loss against Mildred by a mere 4 points.

It looks like an exciting season ahead for our Lady Gladiators.  Their next game will be at home on Tuesday, August 9.  Games begin at 4:30 with the JV squad taking on Dawson followed by the varsity’s matchup with the Lady Bulldogs.
