The Italy Gladiators gave a valiant effort this past Friday night as they challenged the visiting Palmer Bulldogs in a non-district contest. The fourth quarter ended with the score tied 14-14, therefore, the game had to be decided in overtime. Using a trick play, the Bulldogs passed for the go-ahead touchdown and then scored the conversion to take a 22-14 lead. Italy was unable to match Palmer’s points and the Bulldogs held on for the dramatic win. This article contains additional photos covering Friday night’s action.
