The Lady Gladiators stood tall and proud last Tuesday as they took on the Lady Zebras from Grandview. With excellent response at the net, IHS protected and gave Grandview something to think about. The Lady Gladiators have strength and know how to use it.

The Lady Zebras traveled from Grandview to battle the Lady Gladiators. With some assemblence of an organized conflict, Grandview won in 3 games. The scores were 25-18, 25-21 and 25-8. The girls played with heart and had a battle plan with their Coach Heather Richters. The Lady Gladiators were the first to put the score on the board and play their hand but just couldn’t finish the deal.

The JV team battled Grandview also and they went to 3 games. When asked about the team, their coach said, “The JV team played an excellent game. We have played Grandview three times this year, and have battled them. Two of the three times, Grandview has beat us but the Italy girls fought and played with so much heart,” Coach Tina Richards replied.
