With the score of 36-10, the Gladiators leave Willis Field triumphant over the Blooming Grove Lions. From the Gladiator Regiment Band, to the players, coaches and cheerleaders on the field, to the fans in the stands, to the volunteers at the gate and in the concession stand and to the closing ceremony, Italy Homecoming 2011 was a complete success. Megan Richards was crowned Homecoming Queen, Omar Estrada was sashed as Homecoming King and and Larry Mayberry Jr.’s interception return for a touchdown spotlighted a Gladiator defense that has returned to dominance.
