Italy ISD is getting the word out

Amidst the improvements and work-in-progress projects going on within the Italy Independent School District communication tools and avenues are definitely a priority.  Besides the school website, Italy High School principal, Lee Joffre is urging parents to make it a habit to view the district’s Facebook page.  You DO NOT have to have a Facebook page yourself to view this page.

On this Facebook page, the district’s administrators and key personnel will post updates and notices on a regular basis.  Things like meeting notices, weather delays, policy updates, lunch menus will all be posted on this site.

The district’s website will be maintained as well but current information will be front and center when viewed on the district’s Facebook page.

Subscribing to this page’s RSS feed is recommend as that tool will alert you via email or text when an update has been made to the page.  See the image attached to this article for more information regarding these types of direct feeds.

In the event that you are a Facebooker be sure to “like” the page so that you can see updates from the Italy ISD on your “wall.”
