The Italy Gladiators were allowed access to the turf field at Ennis High School this week in preparation for their football bi-district playoff game against the Franklin Lions. The game will be at Buffalo which added a turf field to their facility along with a new field house.

This will be Italy’s first game on such a surface this season, therefore, Gladiator head coach, Craig Bales, contacted Ennis ISD with the request. And what better way to prepare for a team called the Lions than at a Lion’s stadium.

Good luck to the Gladiators who have put together an exciting season to finish as co-district champions and earn a trip to the playoffs. Stick together, believe in one another and play with Gladiator pride on every play! Italy Family!!
