Richard Kampen of Italy was named winner of the two Texas Ranger 11-game tickets given away by the Italy Gladiator Band Booster Club Friday morning.

The drawing was rescheduled to Friday after the cancellation of the Gladiator baseball game Tuesday.

Albert Garcia Jr., coordinator of the event, said 295 tickets were sold. Top band sellers were Eli Garcia, 84 tickets; Kyle Fortenberry and Joe Mack Pitts, 30 tickets each.

Garcia said the booster club made a profit of $900.

The booster club thanks those individuals who purchased tickets as well as the students who participated in ticket sales.
