Gladiator Regiment Marching Band director, Jesus Perez, sports the number originally made famous by Jim Otto, the center for the Oakland Raiders from 1960-1974. The AFL permitted the unusual number because it was a pun on Otto’s name (aught-oh) which he began wearing in 1961. (Barry Byers)
