IHS FCCLA club hosted a festival
On November 10, 2010, the Italy High School FCCLA club hosted a Fall Festival benefiting the North Texas Food Bank, which distributes food throughout our community. The group collected $188.65 in change. Just 14 cents will buy a pound of food for hungry families.
The event included a puppet show, cake walk, face and nail painting, a bounce house and several games where children received candy and prizes. There was also a raffle held to throw pies at Italy High School Principal Lee Joffre and Coach Nate Skelton. The men were great sports as they were creamed in the face for charity.
FCCLA is matching the money raised for a combined donation of $377.30 to the food bank. If you would like to add a donation, please contact Melinda Hines at Italy High School ASAP.
