Italy Gladiators selected as Army Strong Team of the Week, “Salute!”
The Italy Gladiators have been named Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Week 13 Class A Army Strong Team of the Week after upsetting the Honey Grove Warriors 33-20 for the regional semifinal championship! (Barry Byers)

The Italy Gladiator Football Team was honored by Dave Campbell’s Football for our performance this past week against Honey Grove.
The award is called the Army Strong Team of the Week. They choose a team every week that they perceived as the Team of the Week. They choose one team for each classification in Texas HS football each week. A representative from the United States Army will be arranging a time to come to the school to reward Italy HS with the Army Strong Team of the Week Plaque.
