Ronnie L. Rosemond, age 65, of Italy, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at his home.

He was born August 20, 1947 in Waxahachie to Lawton Britton and Willie Ann (Embrey) Rosemond. He graduated from Italy High School in 1965 where he played football and also at Navarro. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from East Texas State. Ronnie married Mary Besshers in Corsicana on August 4, 2001. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Italy. He was a nice guy who would talk to anybody and was very humorous. Ronnie was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include his loving wife of 11 years, Mary Rosemond of Italy; two daughters, Michelle Pipkins and husband Joel of Arlington and Raelyn Gross and husband Clayton of Plano; one grandchild, Bailey Pipkins and one on the way, Brooklyn. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, January 17, 2013 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy.

Funeral services will be 2PM Friday, January 18, 2013 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy. Interment will follow at the Italy Cemetery.
